I loved this book so much!
I thought it was much better than the Wicked Novel - I was so addicted to it! It was so amazing!
I loved the way that he went back in Liir's mind to Elphaba but he didn't say "Elphaba did this" he said "Green skin" at the end of those bits which was really cool. I had a feeling that the baby would come out the way she does but then that went away and then I finished reading and it was right! Really interesting and amazing.
Yeah shame he's not making a sequel but I think "The Watermark" sounds interesting, if it is the reference from the first book I think that'll be good to find out!

I just got Son of a Witch for Christmas and had it read within a couple days. I didn't like it nearly as much as I liked Wicked, but the ending did take me by surprise. If it wasn't for that ending I'm not sure if I'd end up reading his next Wicked-related book, but as soon as I read that last line I knew I'd have to read whatever comes next, just to see what happens. I'm probably more interested in seeing what happens to the baby than what ends up happening to Liir.

Oh I want to know all of it, but yeah especially the baby! I want to know what he'd call it (probably Elphaba) and stuff..yeah. I spent ages yesterday explaining what happens in Son of a Witch to Danni!
But yeah I loved the book and am probably going to read Wicked again because I was halfway through the second read of it, then started reading Son of a Witch.
Everyone thinks I'm obsessed with Witches at school because I'm always reading something Witchy :P
